Job summary

PerkinElmer Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support inventory, order processing, and shipping in a manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock records and timely dispatch of goods, contributing to production and delivery timelines. You will handle daily warehouse tasks, update records, and coordinate with logistics to ensure orders reach customers on time.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with warehouse or store operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and record-keeping.
• Physically fit for manual warehouse tasks including pallet jacks and stackers.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations: receiving, handling, issuing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure all work orders are processed and materials issued to production lines within deadlines.
• Maintain accurate storage of materials, especially controlled items requiring special storage conditions.
• Regularly update inventory records and bin cards to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and participate in the Annual Physical Stock Count.
• Coordinate with the order fulfillment team and logistics providers for timely dispatch and delivery.
• Cross-check material part numbers and quantities with GR slips to ensure inventory data accuracy.
• Maintain safety and security of the store and shipping area and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Uphold 5S standards to keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient.
