Job summary

Long Yuan New Energy (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Butterworth, Penang, is seeking a hardworking warehouse assistant. The role involves managing inventory, packing, loading/unloading, forklift operation when needed, and maintaining accurate warehouse records. Training will be provided for forklift use, and overtime may be required.

The ideal candidate has a minimum SPM or equivalent qualification, prior warehouse experience is preferred, and physical fitness for manual handling tasks is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Forklift operating experience is an advantage; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Responsible, hardworking, and physically fit.
• Able to perform manual handling and lifting tasks.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
• Pack and prepare products for shipment.
• Load and unload goods safely.
• Operate a forklift when required.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of goods.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
