Job description

Lead and manage the warehouse team and expertise to the overall Warehouse Management System, policies and standard to support proper and smooth execution of all warehouse related activities in meeting the specified standard and requirements.

Responsible for the overall day to day operations by plan, organize and manage the Management System (MS) activities to ensure comply with company’s SOP.

Establish and maintain MS documentation (work instructions and procedures). Ensure all documents and records are following ISO standard and in-house procedure accordingly.

To ensure basic warehouse rules are strictly followed such as FIFO, receiving/delivering SOP, stock count and all safety practices.

Ensure the condition and environment of warehouse by implementing good 5S practice, housekeeping, material storage layouts.

Oversee of warehouse operation planning for its processes, In-coming raw material receiving, handling material requisition supply to production and finished product delivery to customer.

To continue improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operation and processes by developing or update standard operation best practices for warehouse operations, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and optimizing warehouse operations to meet quality performance standards.

To achieve and monitor targeted warehouse quality objective and KPI.

To leads warehouse team by providing clear direction and instruction, monitor performance and attendance of the staff, provide guidance and training.

Analyse and review on monthly stock report such as stock turnover, stock write off, stock returned, stock adjustment, variance report or prepare any ad-hoc reports as and when required by Management.

Controls material inventory by stock control monitoring and conducting physical stock counts.

Liaise with purchaser for incoming raw material planning, to obtain packing list for upcoming receiving.

Coordinate with QC department for incoming material buy off and goods disposition.

To ensure raw material supply to production passed and approved for use upon supplying.

To ensure planned delivery trips delivered to customer as scheduled together with delivery documents.

Monitor and maintained transport maintenance; lorry and tanker cleaning and service, forklift and lift truck service.

Follow up and confirmation on empty container collection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering/Chemistry/Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent, with /or 8 years of experience.
• Experienced in supply chain handling and has substantial knowledge in relevant laws and legislation will be an added advantage.
• Possession of a valid Forklift Driving/Handling Competency Certificate or equivalent experience is an added advantage.
• Experienced in ISO9001, ISO45001 , 5S, FIFO, GMP, Environmental Management System, Section 24 of OSH Act 1994 is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strategic thinker with sound judgment, well-organized, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Skills in Microsoft office applications, problem solving, planning, and wastages control.
• Knowledge in warehouse and inventory handling.
