Job summary

A chemical company in Malaysia seeks an individual for operations and warehouse management in Kuching, responsible for inventory accuracy, reporting, and ensuring safety standards. Eligible candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the chemical industry. The role involves assisting with daily operations, managing reports, and optimizing warehouse space. This position offers full-day work from Monday to Friday, with Saturday being a half-day.

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in Operations/Warehouse management.
• Experience in the Chemical industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day issues related to operations and warehouse.

Job description

Overview

To assist on day-to-day issues and meetings pertaining to Operations, Warehouse, Inventory and Transportation.

To produce and maintain updated reports related to Warehouse, including inventory and statistics report for submission to Head of Department.

To ensure the accuracy of stock inventory and update HOD for any irregularities.

To ensure space optimization in the Warehouse.

To ensure proper security and maintenance of cargo in the Warehouse.

To ensure relevant warehouse personnel understand their job tasks, especially in ensuring the stocks are stored in good order before proceeding to load/unload from the lorry.

To maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards, procedures of the Company\'s policy on Safety, Health and Environment.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in Operations/Warehouse management.
• Working experience in Chemical industry is an added advantage.
• Selected candidate will be working at MTLD DEMAK LAUT INDUSTRIAL PARK
• Work days will be from Monday to Friday (full day) & Saturday (half day).
