Job summary

A leading convenience store chain is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support outbound operations and ensure efficient deliveries. The successful candidate will have at least one year of experience in outbound or transportation fields and must be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Responsibilities include optimizing transportation processes, monitoring safety practices, and analyzing transportation issues.

Warehouse Assistant (Transport/Outbound) - Contract

1. Support Outbound Executive on day-to-day operations control and deliveries

2. Support Outbound Executive to ensure accurate and on-time dispatches and deliveries

3. Support Outbound Executive to establish and implement distribution strategies, plans and objectives

4. Assist Outbound Executive to analyze transportation issues and seek support from service provider.

5. Ensure safety and health practices and procedures are adhered to at the workplace

6. Review employee hourly performances on route preparation, Joint Check and loading against target set for each scope.

7. Ensure that all documentation for daily deliveries printed prior loading and have handover signoff with drivers to avoid store complaints.

8. To assist and monitor and optimize asset utilization process, and monitor the efficiency of consumables and packaging material usage.

9. To assist Outbound Executive on the manpower duty roaster and review attendance compliance with plan, advice Superior on daily attendance and task assignment for each headcount.

10. To assist update Superior day to day output vs headcount and review & request overtime approval before activation and target output from the overtime hours.

11. Attend to any issue raised by stores during delivery and solve the issue asap and to refer to Outbound manager if need any advise.

12. Monitor and review daily tote collection and communicate with transporters any driver failing to collect tote boxes from stores.

13. To assist Superior conduct the Vendor Management Program (VMP) Meetings with Transporters and 3PL for continuous service level improvement together with Outbound Manager

14. Prepare transportation KPIs -OTW/OTL/OTD/COD

16. Conduct floor Audits on regular basis, Joint Check accuracy, loading accuracy process and shrinkage control.

17. Perform other job related duties as and when requested by Superior

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum to have SPM

2. Minimum 1 years' experience in Outbound or Transportation fields

3. At least have basic knowledge in excel

4. Willing to work in shift

5.Willing to work on weekend and Public Holidays
