Job Description

Cleaning and Decontamination: Receiving, cleaning, disinfecting, and decontaminating surgical instruments, medical supplies, and equipment to ensure they are free from contaminants and safe for use.

Sterilization and Packaging: Operating sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ethylene oxide sterilizers to sterilize instruments and then assembling and packaging them properly according to infection control guidelines.

Inventory and Supply Management: Maintaining accurate inventory of sterile supplies, restocking storage areas, assembling surgical instrument trays or case carts, and managing supplies to meet operational needs.

Quality Assurance and Safety: Inspecting instruments for functionality and cleanliness, monitoring and documenting sterilization processes for compliance, reporting any equipment malfunctions, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols.

Job Requirements

Possess a healthcare related diploma.
Possesses experience in CSSD setting.
Able to work on shift including night shift.
