A leading fintech company seeks a VP, Events & Activation to define and execute brand activation strategies across ASEAN. You'll design and manage impactful events to drive awareness and conversions. The right candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Events Management and a strong analytical background. We are seeking an experienced VP, Events & Activation in Petaling Jaya. You will be responsible for defining and personally executing BJAK’s overall Events and Brand Activation strategy across ASEAN.
Your hands‑on focus will be on designing, securing, and managing high‑impact events and strategic sponsorships that directly generate brand awareness, drive traffic to the platform, and increase policy conversions. You will manage the necessary teams and resources to ensure all activities deliver a strong, measurable ROI.
What You’ll Do
Define, secure, and execute a high‑impact calendar of events, sponsorships, and activations (e.g., owned branded events, conferences, customer appreciation nights, mini‑concerts, exhibitions, community roadshows, co‑branded programs) designed specifically to drive immediate policy quote requests and customer acquisition for BJAK.
Lead the end‑to‑end management of all physical activations, including venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, contract execution and logistics. Ensure all events are flawlessly executed, highly scalable, and fully compliant with local regulations.
Maintain absolute adherence to BJAK's brand guidelines across all physical assets and event touchpoints. Deliver a premium, engaging customer experience that actively educates consumers on the benefits of using an insurance aggregator.
Establish rigorous measurement frameworks for every event, setting clear KPIs beyond foot traffic (e.g., Cost Per Quote, Event‑Generated Conversion Rate). Present hands‑on performance reports to the executive team, demonstrating the tangible business ROI of activation spending.
Collaborate intensely with the Marketing teams to ensure a seamless conversion funnel. This includes managing event‑specific technology for on‑site lead capture, post‑event nurturing, and effective handover of qualified leads to the sales channel.
