Job Summary
- Key objective is to enhance the planning, performance management, governance, and administrative functions within the Corporate Banking Department.
- Providing support for department strategy and administration as well as driving operational excellence.
- Monitor the team’s progress and achievement against department targets.
- Play a key part in enabling informed decision‑making, fostering accountability, and promoting efficient workflows to support the department’s overall success.
- Support compliance and governance related matters.
Job Responsibilities
- Performance and Financial Management
- Monitor the Dept and Relationship Manager (RM) performance, covering gross profit, KPIs, pipeline, assets, etc.
- Maintain concise performance dashboards for management review, which includes assisting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Business Planning and Analytical Support
- Assist Head of Corporate Banking Dept on data analysis and business planning materials.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide insights for management decisions.
- Reporting and Meeting Materials
- Prepare materials for local and regional/group level meetings and reports.
- Coordinate data/information collation and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- Coordinate and support meeting arrangements, as well as facilitate meetings.
- Governance, Compliance, and Internal Control
- Support governance and compliance at both local and regional/group levels.
- Support KYC status tracking, audit response coordination and exceptional handling cases.
- Maintain the departmental procedures, ensuring compliance in presentation materials.
- Administrative and Ad‑hoc Support
- Handle administrative matters such as meeting coordination, business trip arrangement and document preparation.
- Lead the dept on ad‑hoc matters that require collaboration within dept and/or with other departments.
- Provide support for smooth daily operations.
Job Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in business, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of business planning, budgeting, and management reporting experience, preferably with exposure in corporate banking or the financial industry.
- Experience and exposure in corporate and commercial banking activities, including financing and credit analysis, will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Well‑organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders both inside and outside the department.
- Proactive, adaptable, and team‑oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
