Job description
Primary Objectives

The Vice President, Corporate Development is responsible for driving TRXC’s long-term growth through strategic planning, corporate ventures, business expansion and cross‑functional initiatives.

The role leads strategic assessments, corporate development activities, financial and real estate analyses, and key development management services, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s overall business objectives. The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership to shape TRXC’s future direction, explore new business opportunities, and provide robust strategic and analytical support for decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Group-Wide Strategy

  • Develop proposals for the formulation and execution of TRXC’s growth strategy across the organisation.
  • Advise and support the TRXC Group‑wide Strategic Planning Programme, including Long‑Term Plans, 5‑Year Strategic Business Plans (5YSBP) and Annual Business Plans (ABP).
  • Provide strategic insights, industry outlooks, benchmarking and scenario analysis to inform corporate direction.

Corporate Development & Venture Initiatives

  • Lead and drive corporate development initiatives, including business model innovation and new venture ideation.
  • Conduct corporate portfolio review and optimisation to ensure TRXC’s business units and assets align with strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate and execute mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (JV), strategic partnerships and new business opportunities to support organisational growth.

Real Estate & Financial Analysis

  • Lead detailed real estate and financial analyses to support high‑impact strategic decisions.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases, feasibility studies, financial models and investment proposals for senior leadership and Board consideration.
  • Assess financial risks, sensitivity outcomes and commercial viability of proposed initiatives.

Development Management Services (Advisory Works)

  • Lead and oversee end‑to‑end delivery of advisory assignments in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Ensure high‑quality deliverables, stakeholder coordination and compliance with agreed scope and timelines.

Special Projects & Cross‑Functional Initiatives

  • Undertake special assignments as directed by the superior in relation to business development, strategic planning or internal process enhancement.
  • Collaborate across departments to support organisational transformation and operational improvements.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Investment Management or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications such as MIA, ACCA, CFA, ICAEW, or other relevant qualifications are an added advantage.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in a corporate office environment within a fast‑paced, dynamic business setting.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, financial modelling and corporate planning.
  • Experience in real estate or property development is an added advantage.
  • Strong financial acumen with deep analytical capabilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaborative digital tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly organised, attentive to detail and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong team player with a proactive mindset and problem‑solving capabilities.
