Video Editor (Events | Weddings | Corporate)

We’re hiring a Video Editor to join our event and creative production team. You’ll edit high-quality video content for corporate events, brand activations, weddings and live productions. Responsibilities include camera operation, on-site filming, Same-Day Edits (SDE), highlight reels, and social media content. Strong editing skills, creativity, and ability to travel and work on weekends/public holidays are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Report to and collaborate closely with the Director to ensure consistent quality and improvement of all video output.

Capture high-quality footage of event highlights, keynote speeches, audience interactions, performances, and branded segments.

Operate camera(s) with strong composition, steady movement, and clear audio recording.

Edit various formats: highlight reels, full event documentation, teasers, and social media content.

Perform Same-Day Edit (SDE): offload, organize, and edit footage on-site during live events.

Travel for assignments as required, handling both on-site filming and real-time editing.

Apply creative, modern editing styles to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.

Deliver all final video content within scheduled deadlines.

Maintain well-organized project files, footage, assets, and backups.

Manage and upkeep video equipment inventory, ensuring all gear is tracked and properly maintained.

Willing to work on weekends and Public Holidays as required by event schedules.

Requirements:

Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin/Cantonese is a must to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients.)

At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in videography and video editing.

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing software.

Strong knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and on-set production techniques.

Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in commercials, events, or branded content.

Experience in event coverage, green screen, and multi-camera setup is a plus.
