Requirements

• Open to all academic backgrounds (Diploma/Degree is a plus, but not required).
• 0–2 years of experience OR a strong personal/internship portfolio that clearly demonstrates your shooting and editing skills (link required).
• Must be skilled in mobile editing apps (e.g., Jian Ying) for quick, trend-based content.
• Familiarity with desktop editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) is a major plus.
• Must have fundamental experience shooting video (basic camera operation, simple lighting, and capturing usable audio).
• A creative eye, a passion for storytelling, and a strong interest in social media video trends.
• Mandarin preferred (for content and simple subtitles).

Bonus points

• Basic photo editing (Canva/Photoshop), familiarity with current trends, basic graphic titling.

Responsibilities

• Video Editing (Primary): Assemble, cut, and edit raw footage into engaging videos for social media (Reels, TikTok, etc.) under the guidance of the marketing team.
• Shooting Assistance (Primary): Assist with and execute in-house video shoots (e.g., setting up lights, operating the camera, monitoring audio) to capture product, service, and lifestyle content.
• Simple Post-Production: Clean up audio, perform basic color correction, and add subtitles (CN), music, and text overlays using Jian Ying or other tools.
• Asset Management: Organize and maintain the company’s video files, ensuring footage and final edits are correctly labeled and archived.
• Trend Spotting: Help the team brainstorm ideas by monitoring current social media video trends, sounds, and formats.
• Support Tasks: Assist the marketing team with other simple creative tasks (like creating thumbnails or GIFs) as needed.
