Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites a motivated Video Editing & AI Intern to join our travel-focused team. Turn raw footage into engaging clips for TikTok, Reels, YouTube, and websites while exploring AI-assisted content production to speed up workflows.

You will collaborate with marketing and design, organize media assets, and stay on top of current video trends, delivering quality content on deadline while learning tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Video Production, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, Design or related field.
• Basic video-editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
• Comfortable using or learning AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, Runway or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube, websites and marketing campaigns.
• Add subtitles, music, transitions, graphics, voiceovers and simple animations.
• Create travel destination videos, tour highlights, promotional content, customer testimonials and educational travel tips.
• Resize and optimise videos according to each platform’s requirements.
• Work with the marketing and design teams to ensure all content follows brand guidelines.
• Organise raw footage, completed videos, templates and other media assets.
• Research current video trends and suggest fresh content ideas.
• Use AI tools to assist with content research, video concepts, scripts, hooks, captions and storyboards.
• Create AI-assisted visuals, voiceovers, animations or video elements when appropriate.
• Use AI to generate subtitles, remove backgrounds, clean audio and improve video quality.
• Produce different versions of video advertisements for creative testing.
• Experiment with new AI tools and recommend practical ways to improve the content-production workflow.
• Check all AI-generated content carefully for accuracy, quality and brand suitability.
• Document useful AI prompts, templates and workflows for future use.

As a forward-thinking travel company, we want someone who can turn travel stories, raw footage and creative ideas into engaging video content. You will also explore and use AI tools to make content creation faster, more creative and more efficient.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys video editing, social media, storytelling, travel and experimenting with new technology. You should be able to work independently, meet deadlines and take initiative.
