Job Summary
  • Lead CCRIS Reporting to ensure Affin Hwang Investment Bank (AHIB) complies with CCRIS Guidelines and the timeline for data submission to BNM.
  • Assist the Head of Reporting (HOR) to oversee the management of credit reporting via CCRIS as well as institute and implement mechanisms (including internal controls and frameworks) to ensure compliance with requirements in this policy document, including:
  • Establishing a mechanism to monitor and identify any weakness in data management which would jeopardise AHIB’s compliance with BNM requirements;
  • Advising on the appropriate remedial actions in an effective and timely manner;
  • Implementing the approved remedial actions in an effective and timely manner; and;
  • Resolve any operational issues and challenges staff face in preparing the CCRIS report.
Job Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that the information contained in credit application and credit account information is complete and accurate before submission to the CCRIS;
  • Ensuring that the Bank adheres strictly to the CCRIS submission deadlines set out in the PD;
  • Responding promptly to queries, alerts, and notifications received from the Credit Bureau;
  • Establish and implement internal procedures on the designation of employees as Authorised Users and online access privileges to the CCRIS;
  • Authorised CCRIS System Administration to enable access to Authorised Users pursuant to approvals obtained;
  • Maintain the register of Authorised Users and promptly update the register to reflect changes to the status of any Authorised User;
  • Ensure the timely notification to the Credit Bureau/BNM on the particulars or changes to the Authorised Signatory, CCRIS Manager and Security Administrator or other designated roles as shall be required to be registered/notified by the BNM from time to time;
  • With month-end submission to BNM;
  • Coordinate and ensure all submitters adhere strictly to the CCRIS Submission deadlines as stipulated by BNM;
  • Request the IT Administrator to extract the Data Quality Report from the BNM PC Node and forward it to CCT for data reconciliations;
  • Request the CCRIS System Administrator to re-submit all reconciled data to BNM;
  • Review the Bank’s CCRIS SOP annually to ensure they remain in accordance with BNM’s guidelines/ requirements on CCRIS and to update accordingly where necessary;
  • Timely broadcast/disssemination of circulars, updates, and notifications to relevant parties in the Bank; and
  • Maintain a repository of CCRIS circulars, updates, guidelines, CCRIS Report Request Forms and clarifications from BNM (i.e., email communication between CCRIS Manager and BNM); “CCRIS” tab in the Bank’s intranet” (“CCRIS Repository”).
