What you'll be doing

• Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Maintaining detailed medical records and monitoring patient progress
• Preparing examination rooms, sterilising equipment, and restocking supplies
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients, including educating them on animal health and care
• Carrying out laboratory tests and analyses as needed
• Ensuring the clinic's cleanliness and biosecurity standards are upheld
• Handling and restraining animals during procedures in a calm and compassionate manner

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in veterinary technology, animal health, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and the wider clinic team
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
