As a VB6 Developer at Zurich Malaysia, you will be a key member of our Operations Excellence and Automation team. Join us to support various Business Units in automation projects, driving efficiency and operational impact. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving our goal of operational excellence!

Job Description:

1. Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.
2. Conduct internal testing and evaluate new programs/functions.
3. Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop these modifications.
4. Write and implement efficient code following industry best practices.
5. Assess operational practicality of solutions.
6. Develop quality assurance procedures.
7. Deploy software tools, processes, and metrics.
8. Maintain and upgrade existing systems and train users.
9. Collaborate closely with other developers, business units, and systems analysts.

Technical Skills Required:

• At least 2 years of experience with VB6.
• Experience developing web applications using MVC5 with ASP.NET 4.7.2+ or .NET Core 3.1+.
• Proficiency in C# programming.
• Knowledge of SQL database normalization and table structures.
• Experience with stored procedures.
• UI design skills with Bootstrap and CSS3.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and Web APIs.
• Experience working within an Agile DevOps framework.
