Job summary

Netizen eXperience in Malaysia is seeking a Web Designer to blend design with programming. You'll assist in the UX & UI design process, preparing high-fidelity designs and graphics assets for the development team.

Your responsibilities include designing website features that enhance user experience, troubleshooting designs, and collaborating closely with stakeholders. Candidates pursuing or possessing a degree in Graphic Design or IT are encouraged to apply, along with fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or have a Bachelor of Art, Graphic Design, IT or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred; fresh graduates welcomed.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.

Job description

Web designers combine design and programming in their work. You will be involved in the web application UX & UI design process preparing high fidelity designs and create graphics assets required by the development team. You will also be responsible to implement visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application.

Job Scope

• Assist in initial concept development through to design and project completion Design website pages, features and layouts according to user research and design direction to provide positive user experience
• Preparation of graphics required for web development and other related projects
• Identify and perform troubleshooting or refining of designs to improve user experience
• Engage closely with all stakeholders and provide support where necessary

Must Haves

• Candidate must possess or is currently pursuing Bachelor of Art, Graphic design, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 1-2 year experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Speaks and writes English fluently.
• Proficient in using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma. Having front-end development knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication skills and able to work well with people at all levels.
