Job summary

Shell Malaysia Upstream is seeking an experienced professional to manage production reconciliation and hydrocarbon accounting for operated fields in Sarawak and associated non-operated assets. The role focuses on ensuring data integrity, accurate invoicing, and safeguarding commercial interests through the measurement-to-cash process.

Ideal candidates will hold an engineering degree (Process, Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical) with 3–5 years of experience and at least 2 years in hydrocarbon

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Process, Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in related field.
• 2+ years in hydrocarbon accounting.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Analytical understanding of upstream oil and gas production processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute production reconciliation and product allocation for operated fields in Sarawak.
• Interface with external parties to cover non-operated facilities and 3rd party fields.
• Protect asset interest in allocation, invoices, and sales accounting.
• Comply with SOX, MTAB, PPGuA, GSA and PSC requirements.
• Provide reporting of KPIs and support stakeholder management in metering irregularities.
