Passion Republic is seeking a skilled Animator to deliver benchmark quality gameplay animations using hand keyed and motion capture data. You will implement and test animations in Unreal Engine, ensuring strong gameplay responsiveness and clarity across departments.

With 3–5 years in games or related industry, you will adapt to various animation directions, collaborate with teams, and guide junior animators. A strong demo reel and self-motivation are essential for success at Passion Republic.

Qualifications

• Strong demo reel showcasing high quality gameplay animations (e.g. locomotion, combat, interactions, cinematics).
• Around 3 to 5 years of experience in the games or related industry.
• Strong understanding of gameplay systems and player responsiveness.
• Strong sense of taste and ability to adapt to different animation directions and styles.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently within deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Experience implementing animations in Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities

• Deliver benchmark quality and complex animations using hand keyed and motion capture data.
• Handle technically demanding animation tasks.
• Implement and test animations in engine.
• Collaborate closely with different departments to ensure strong gameplay responsiveness and clarity.
• Contribute to team discussions on animation direction, style, and quality benchmarks.
• Support and guide Junior Animators when needed.
