Public Mutual Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a unit trust consultant to advise clients on unit trust investments, build portfolios and drive sales.

The role requires strong financial knowledge, exceptional communication, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, with opportunities to develop a passive income and potentially run your own business.

Formación

• SPM or Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Malaysian unit trust qualification or willingness to obtain certification upon employment
• Proven experience in financial advisory, investment sales or a related field within the banking and financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of unit trust products, investment principles and financial markets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and capable of meeting sales targets
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional and personalized financial advisory services to clients regarding unit trust investments and portfolio management
• Assess clients' financial objectives, risk tolerance and investment horizon to recommend suitable unit trust products
• Conduct product presentations and educational seminars to potential and existing clients about unit trust investments
• Build and maintain a strong client portfolio through regular follow-ups, relationship management and exceptional customer service
• Prepare comprehensive financial plans and investment proposals tailored to individual client needs
• Process unit trust applications, redemptions and other transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Stay updated with market trends, economic developments and fund performance to provide informed investment recommendations
• Achieve sales targets and performance metrics whilst maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction

About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Unit Trust Consultant to join Public Mutual Berhad, a leading financial services organisation in Malaysia. This is a full-time &part time position based in Perak. As a Unit Trust Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their financial goals through expert guidance on unit trust investments. This role is fundamental to our business, as you will be instrumental in building long-term client relationships and driving our investment advisory services within the community.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional and personalized financial advisory services to clients regarding unit trust investments and portfolio management

Assess clients' financial objectives, risk tolerance and investment horizon to recommend suitable unit trust products

Conduct product presentations and educational seminars to potential and existing clients about unit trust investments

Build and maintain a strong client portfolio through regular follow-ups, relationship management and exceptional customer service

What we're looking for
