Job Description

As the Unit Head of the Account Origination Unit, you will lead and manage teams responsible for the pre‑screening and pre‑processing of unsecured loan applications, including managing outsourcing service providers. Your responsibilities include pre‑screening, income computation, risk ranking, verification, card personalization, and delivery. You will ensure operational excellence, compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and support both business and operational initiatives to drive growth, enhance efficiency and productivity, and improve the overall customer experience.

Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead and mentor teams handling Unsecured Loan Applications and managing outsourcing service provider.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture focused on accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction and excellence.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee and drive operational efficiency for pre‑screening and pre‑processing of credit card and personal loan applications processes.
  • Ensure accurate income computation for credit card, personal loan and permanent limit increase applications.
  • Manage outsourced vendors for card personalization and oversee card delivery processes handled by appointed service providers.
Performance Management
  • Monitor and ensure the achievement of key service indicators and service level agreements with vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure no operational losses and full compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Project & Campaign Support
  • Collaborate with business units to support initiatives, campaigns, and projects within defined timelines.
  • Support strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer experience.
Staff Development
  • Manage staffing needs, training programs and career development plans.
  • Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • In‑depth understanding of credit policies, income assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in operational systems and reporting tools.
