Overview

The Underwriter will assess and analyse insurance applications to determine coverage and risk levels. This role requires a strong understanding of the insurance industry and a meticulous approach to evaluating policies, especially within Property line or Energy and Power line.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and determine risk levels based on company guidelines.
• Analyse data to assess potential risks and recommend appropriate terms and conditions for coverage.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for underwriting decisions.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members in the underwriting process.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Educational background in engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
