Job summary

TPY Creative Sdn Bhd is seeking a UI/UX designer to join our design team in Kuala Lumpur. Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of UI/UX/product design experience are welcome.

The role emphasizes user-centered design, wireframes, prototypes, and collaboration with developers to implement visually appealing interfaces across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate has strong Figma skills, an eye for typography and layout, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 0–2 years of experience in UI/UX, product design, or a related field.
• Proficient in Figma or other UI/UX design tools.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centred design, typography, colour, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Good understanding of responsive web and mobile design.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for visual design.
• Creative, curious, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to receive feedback and continuously improve designs.
• A portfolio or examples of UI/UX design projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for websites, web applications, and mobile platforms.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma or other design tools.
• Assist in conducting user research, competitor research, and usability analysis to understand user needs.
• Translate business and product requirements into clear and effective UI/UX solutions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
• Maintain consistency across products by following design systems, UI components, and brand guidelines.
• Participate in design discussions, brainstorming sessions, and product improvement initiatives.
• Collect feedback from users and internal teams and make necessary design improvements.
• Review existing interfaces and identify opportunities to improve usability, functionality, and visual presentation.
• Prepare design assets and specifications for development.
• Keep up with the latest UI/UX trends, design principles, and digital product best practices.
• Support other design-related tasks and projects when required.
