Job summary

XChangeLab in Malaysia seeks a hands-on treasury and payments operator to own the daily reconciliation and settlement across multiple currency corridors. You will match ledger entries to bank statements and payment-partner reports, investigate breaks, and escalate with precise evidence.

You'll also process FX flows and help move SEPA payments from test to live production, maintaining audit-ready records and identifying process gaps to tighten controls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in treasury operations, payment operations, or bank reconciliation.
• Comfortable with numbers and reconciliation accuracy.
• Basic understanding of FX and cross-border payment mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliation: match ledger entries against bank statements and partner reports; investigate and resolve breaks.
• Process and monitor FX transactions across routes; check rates and amounts against expectations.
• Execute and monitor SEPA payments; assist in moving from test to live production.
• When mismatches occur, recalculate, verify against source documents, and escalate with clear explanations.
• Maintain audit-ready records of reconciliation results and resolutions.
• Flag system, partner, or process gaps that require tightening.
