The Treasury Operation Analyst will play a key role in ensuring efficient treasury operations within the accounting and finance department of a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.

Description
- Prepare daily cash position
- Prepare prior day cash reconciliation
- Prepare Treasury Settlement & Manual EFT payments for review and approval (3 days per week)
- Review & Reconcile supplier payment files
- Coordinate authorisation & release of payments - maintain authorization roster.
- Prepare daily cash journals and supporting documentation accurately and ensure timely posting to GL
- Maintenance of Treasury Payments & Team calendar
- PO Requisition, Receipting/Invoicing
- Review & validate supplier bank details
- Manage the Treasury Mailbox, responding to queries and actioning requests timely
- Coordination of Corporate Credit Card Program
- prepare & reconcile monthly credit card statements and transaction summary for review
- coordinate credit card applications for approval
- manage the credit card mailbox responding to queries and actioning requests timely
- Compliance with controls, procedures and policies associated with Treasury operations
- Assist with audit queries relating to Treasury Operations
- Maintenance of Treasury Operations Procedures and Control documentations
- Recommending process improvement and automation
Profile
- Strong Accounting skills (Degree qualified)
- Attention to detail critical
- Experience working in a team environment & shared responsibilities
- Good time management skills including proactive planning and organisation skills
- Accountability & responsibility for own work and impact on others - strong work ethic
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Treasury management systems and Cash flow forecasting system experience favoured
- CA/CPA or working towards viewed favourably
- Strong Communication skills
- Problem solving skills with a drive for process improvement, adaptable to change
