Job Summary:
Deliver reliable and high-quality travel services to customers in accordance with their travel policies, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Serve as a front-line sales representative by promoting travel solutions and supporting organizational revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Air Reservation & Ticketing: Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, provide travel planning and air fare quotations, confirm reservations, and issue airline tickets accurately and promptly.
- Non-Air Travel Arrangements: Arrange other travel services such as hotel bookings, car rentals, rail tickets, and any additional travel requirements requested by clients.
- Visa Advice & Handling: Provide guidance on visa requirements for different countries and assist clients in obtaining the necessary visas before travel.
- Invoicing: Issue invoices upon completion of travel services and ensure all required management information (MI) is accurately captured for reporting purposes.
- Handling Customers & VIP Clients: Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, including senior management, and manage complex travel arrangements with expertise and professionalism.
- Participation in Travel Fairs: Represent the company at travel fairs and promotional events as required, collaborating with other teams to support marketing initiatives.
- Organizational Initiatives & Ad-Hoc Tasks: Participate in company initiatives, action plans, and cross-department projects, and perform any other tasks assigned by leadership to support organizational development.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- IATA/UTTA certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 year of experience in travel operations, airline ticketing, or customer service preferred; fresh graduates are welcome as full training will be provided.
- Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar) is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable of airline fares, ticketing, and travel regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle complex travel arrangements and manage VIP clients professionally.
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in bookings, invoicing, and documentation.
