Linde Group in Malaysia is seeking a Distribution Supervisor (Contract) to lead daily distribution operations, drive safety and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or pre-university qualification, preferably in Science, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or distribution.
  • Proficient in English and local language; strong communication skills.
  • Experience with transporter and contractor management; liaising with regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily distribution operations for safe, efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, compliance, and key distribution metrics to drive performance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, and operational standards.
  • Lead and support team members to achieve business objectives; foster a high-performance culture.

In this role, you will oversee and coordinate daily distribution operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery

Furthermore, you will drive operational performance by monitoring productivity, quality, compliance, and key distribution metrics

Ensuring adherence to safety, statutory, and operational standards is part of your role

Additionally, you will lead and support team members to achieve business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture

You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to sustainable business growth

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

Minimum Diploma or pre-university qualification, preferably in Science, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management

Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, with exposure to the cryogenic industry being an added advantage

Good command of English and the local language, both written and spoken

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems, preferably SAP

Experience in transporter and contractor management, as well as liaising with regulatory authorities

Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation regulations, and compliance requirements

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to operational excellence
