Job Title: Trainer I/Sr. Trainer I/Sr. Trainer II (Native Japanese Speaker)

Job Description

The Trainer is responsible for delivering client focused training to address the new hire, product update and recursive training requirement in support of client programs to ensure superior workforce preparation with best in class service and delivery. This position requires attaining and maintaining certification in the Trainer Certification Program, provides mentoring to Program Ready Trainers, curriculum review and modification as needed, and evaluation of training programs using various feedback methods.

You Will
  • Support the delivery of personal effectiveness, management and leadership training
  • Design, develop and deliver high impact programs aimed at driving revenue growth
  • Facilitate the integration of content with the knowledge and experience of the learners
  • Act as a learning expert after training to reinforce concepts and effective application of methodology
  • Design and develop local programs and customize corporate programs to suit the needs of audience
  • When needed partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and opportunities for business improvement and personal development
  • Leverage blended learning approaches and delivery recommendations to meet learning requirements for ongoing development and maturity of the organization, ensuring they are aligned to wider organization goals
  • Ensure best practice approach to learning and development across all L&D initiatives
  • Evaluate training solutions to assess impact of learning programs in terms of learning on the job and ROI
You Have/Are
  • Native Japanese speaker only
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma, or the equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar roles
  • High proficiency level in writing, reading and speaking Japanese (certified in JLPT N2/N1)
  • BS / BA (or equivalent) required; MSc/MA are a plus (Instructional design, Organizational Design, Organizational development, Adult Learning or Psychology preferred) or commensurate work experience
  • Experience working in or with sales a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs analysis.
  • Experience of working with multi-lingual audiences
  • Poise, maturity and interpersonal skills to deal professionally with all levels of local management
  • Experience in Service, Renewal or Support and Channel Sales is an advantage
