Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is offering an Industrial Trainee - Maintenance Epitaxy in our Manufacturing and Operations team in Malaysia. The role involves hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance of epitaxy equipment, data collection and analysis, and development of digital tools using Python or MySQL in a high-tech cleanroom environment.

The program requires a diploma or bachelor in Mechanical, Electronic, or Computer Studies, with 3.0+ CGPA and a 4–6 month duration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Studies.
• Internship duration 4 Months - 6 Months.
• CGPA 3.00 and above.
• Agile, Creative and Collaborative Self Starter.
• Effective Communicator, Relationship Builder and Cross-Functional Collaborator.
• Technical professional adept with Microsoft Office productivity tools and skilled programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL, R).
• Able to work in Wafer Fabrication Cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliability on optimal performance of epitaxy equipment.
• Support the development and maintenance of engineering databases, inventory records and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to collect & analyze process data using engineering tools or software for performance monitoring and reporting.
• Driven to minimize process excursions, reduce operational costs and elevate product quality.
• Assist in the design & development of digital systems such as maintenance management applications, dashboards and internal tools using Python or MySQL.
