Trainee – Associate Engineer Process Engineering (AE)

Job Overview

As a Graduate Trainee Engineer you will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment supporting process stability, equipment performance, and continuous improvement across various modules and fabs. You will receive structured on‑the‑job training and mentorship to develop foundational skills in semiconductor manufacturing, data analysis, and problem‑solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform process sustaining tasks on 12‑hour shifts (morning & night), e.g., hold lots dispositions, shift pass‑down, alarm recovery, tool set‑up data review
• Monitor and analyze SPC charts using SPACE and other tools, respond to process deviations, and follow corrective action systems (CAS)
• Execute tasks according to out‑of‑control OCAP and CAS procedures with a quality‑first mindset
• Assist in lot disposition and data collection for process and equipment faults; ensure accurate documentation and pass down
• Troubleshoot process‑related issues and act as a first line of defense for process, equipment, and measurement abnormalities
• Collaborate with Engineers and Specialists on process qualifications, experiments (e.g., R&R runs, DOE), and improvement projects
• Execute Standard Operating Procedures and maintain compliance with safety and environmental guidelines
• Contribute to scrap reduction initiatives and uphold high standards of operational discipline, safety, housekeeping, and environmental health, safety, and security (EHSS) compliance

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, Chemical Process Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related engineering discipline (expected graduation 2024/2025)
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work rotating shifts
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced, high‑tech manufacturing setting
