This is an exciting opportunity for a senior, self-driven software engineer to join an international fintech start-up. At Early Insight Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge trading and quantitative analysis systems. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

What you'll be doing

• Engineer and support trading engines for crypto, futures and other asset classes.
• Build exchange and market data connectivity through APIs.
• Enhance simulation and AI training systems.
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Build monitoring and alerting systems.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to design custom solutions.
• Offer live support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of trading systems.

What we're looking for

• Motivated and independent. Able to run with high level instructions and take ownership.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data-rich engineering contexts.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with DevOps.
• Experience with Unix.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
• Experience in trading or investments (preferred).
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies, exchange APIs and market data APIs (preferred).
• Experience with AI infrastructure, training and services (preferred).
