Job summary

A leading health and beauty retailer based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant to the Deputy Manager/Category Manager. The role includes assisting in planning promotional strategies, engaging with internal stakeholders from the Supply Chain and Marketing departments, and establishing relationships with suppliers. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, excellent negotiation skills, and ideally 1-2 years of experience in merchandising. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Establish collaborative relationship with other department such as Marketing or Supply Chain on stock commitment and promotion planning. Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with our suppliers and ensuring smooth running of operations to achieve total customer satisfaction. Data entry on listings. Follow up with internal and external parties. To provide full support to direct and indirect superior. This will be for the health category.

  • Good negotiation & communication skills, good commercial sense and analytical skills.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and handle stress, a team player with good time management skills.
