Job summary

Watsons Malaysia is seeking a Deputy Manager/Category Manager support in the health category to assist in weekly and monthly promotion planning, plus category strategy planning, coordinating with Marketing and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Management or equivalent, with 1–2 years merchandising experience, strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills, and an analytical mindset, able to work with minimum supervision and manage stress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Management or equivalent within FMCG Health & Beauty Industry.
• Preferable with 1–2 years working experience in Merchandising is an added advantage.
• Strong focus on internal stakeholder engagement within Supply Chain & Marketing Department.
• Good negotiation & communication skills, good commercial sense and analytical skills.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and handle stress; a team player with good time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Deputy Manager/Category Manager to prepare weekly and monthly promotion planning and category strategy, plus administrative duties.
• Establish collaborative relationships with Marketing or Supply Chain on stock commitment and promotion planning.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Data entry on product listings.
• Follow up with internal and external parties.
• Provide full support to direct and indirect superior.
