About the role

Highlight Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Tour Operations Head to join their team in Klang, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and seamless execution of tour packages and monitor the performances of tour leaders and travel crew.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the tour packaging and travel services teams.

Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Train potential tour leaders and crew in the company philosophy and brand identity.

Monitor and analyse tour performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Assist in the development and maintenance of tour itineraries, packages, and promotional materials.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the tour operations team.

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in tour operations management or a related field.

Strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry, including trends, best practices, and regulations.

Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Proficient in the use of travel management software and data analysis tools.
