Overview

Report to: Technical Senior Executive/Technical Executive/Technical Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintain the availability, efficiency and safety of rides and facilities by monitoring and carrying out ad hoc maintenance and repairing activities as necessary.
• Carry out quality repairing work during breakdowns.
• Carry out ad hoc repairing as and when required.
• Carry out overtime duties as required by the supervisor.
• Ensure safety in operation of all rides and facilities.
• Maintain efficiency of all rides and facilities.
• Report any breakdown or discrepancy to the supervisor.
• Report emergencies immediately to the supervisor and take charge until arrival of the supervisor.
• Record attendance in the log book provided.
• Perform scheduled tasks as stipulated in preventive maintenance or occasional shutdown for corrective maintenance.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Attainment: Minimum recognized technical/engineering based Diploma/Certificate (Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical) holder.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity, if without formal qualification.
• Abilities: Ability to carry out repair and maintenance activities with minimal supervision.
• Communication: Good communication skills in interacting with other departments for the smooth operation of the department.
• Provide operational support to other Theme Park divisions (Operations, retail, etc.).
• Aptitudes: Good interpersonal and technical skills to carry out duties effectively.
• Physical/Appearance: Self-disciplined, self-motivated, no physical defects, neat, tidy and pleasant.
