Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in switchgear / UPS commissioning or testing.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of troubleshooting skills.
• Good verbal and written English.
• MS Office computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot UPS systems per test procedures and reports.
• Participate in QA, Safety and Gutor Production System activities.
• Ensure safety of people under your custody (customers, inspectors, visitors, trainees).
• Collaborate with all departments and participate in handover meetings with project engineers.
• Make small modifications to the system when required.
• Maintain corrections in the green and blue binders.
• Manage your tools and measuring equipment.

• - Include all activities where Electronic Hardware expertise is needed.
• - It covers digital and analogic electronic and it is used in many situations; requirements, specifications, architecture, design, test, anticipation...
• THS, Test & Validation: Conducts tests according to a pre-determined process or method (S2 & S3).
• or Conducts complex tests, participates in test means modifications and in tests analysis (S4 & S5).
• or Develops a strong expertise in testing, in order to reinforce our technical leadership.
• Is a thought leader with good understanding of the customer processes, impacting business and customer (S6 & above).

• - Conducts electronicEMC tests, according to a pre-determined process or method.
• May be Entry level with Vocational or Technical Education or obtained broad knowledge through extensive work experience in relevant role(s)or obtained broad knowledge through extensive work experience in relevant role(s) in Engineering /Technical Department

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• - Responsible to test, calibrate and trouble shoot the UPS systems according to the given test procedures, test reports and process and prepare the test reports accordingly.
• - Responsible to participate in QA, Safety and Gutor Production System activities.
• - Responsible for the safety of the people under your custody (customers, inspectors, visitors, trainees etc..)
• - Close cooperation with all the departments.
• - Hand over meetings with the project engineers.
• - Do small modification of the system when its required.
• - Make all necessary corrections in the green and blue binders.
• - Responsible for your own tools and the measuring equipments.

SECONDARY

• - Assistance in complying with the safety rules in the test bay.
• - Perform special tests on single component, assembly groups or the system according to the given instructions from engineering, R&D or Standardization.
• - Other jobs as instructed by the superior.

QUALIFICATIONS

• - Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with more than 5 years experience.
• - At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in switchgear / UPS commissioning or testing.
• - Possess good communication & analytical skills
• - Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• - High Level of trouble shooting skills.
• - Good verbal and written knowledge in English.
• - MS-Office computer skills.
• - Excellent Communication Skills
• - High degree of flexibility
• - Knowledge of the hazards and risk associated with the electricity.
