Job Overview

Test technician for TE Connectivity, focus on bulk cable verification-validation testing. This role is expected to independently work on bulk cable SI test and Physical test confirm while test and validation Engineer finish validation for product, test system design including selection of hardware and programming, to support bulk cable test during NPI in Penang.

Responsibilities

Testing Equipment & Tool Management

• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and tools to meet standards.
• Assign identification numbers to all inspection equipment and ensure external calibration when required.
• Develop calibration plans and monitor equipment operational status.

Cross-Section Sample Preparation & Test Analysis

• Analyze test anomalies with engineers and ensure accuracy in test results.
• Prepare cross-section samples for terminal riveting processes and manage high-frequency testing fixtures.

Testing Equipment Safety

• Conduct on-site safety inspections and confirmations of testing equipment.

High-Frequency Fixture Maintenance

• Manage, produce, and maintain high-frequency testing fixtures for production and new product introductions (NPI).

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or vocational qualification.
• Experience: Experience with high speed test equipment (Digital Sampling Oscilloscope, Vector Network Analyzer, Bit Error Rate Tester, TDR, Pattern Generators, Power Supplies, etc.).
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical abilities, and a sense of responsibility.
