Responsibilities

• Manage and execute NPI projects including scheduling and budgeting.
• Setup, buyoff, and release processes for testers.
• Maintain documentation for work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
• Conduct test coverage analysis and customer collaboration.
• Support ECO implementation on test processes.

The Role

The Test Engineer, is responsible for designing and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of a product.

Key Responsibilities

• As a member of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, responsible for managing and executing NPI projects which include scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Responsible for tester setup, buyoff and release processes.
• Preparing and maintaining documentation such as work instructions and tester troubleshooting guides.
• Conducting test coverage analysis and collaborating with customers and test development teams to optimize coverage.
• Support ECO implementation on test process.
• Managing test programs, including version control, change tracking, and backups.
• Driving continuous improvements in product test yields and tester stability.
• Enhancing tester capabilities, improving test coverage, and identifying cost reduction opportunities.
• Providing training and technical support to test technicians on tester troubleshooting.
• Assisting in PCBA failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Supporting test processes and software validation for medical products.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in PCBA test processes.
• Strong familiarity with PCBA testing, including In‑Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional Circuit Test (FCT) systems.
• Solid understanding of test development methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with programming languages and tools such as LabVIEW, Visual Basic (VB), C++, and scripting.
