Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Tester DL to partner with Production and Engineering teams in Penang, Malaysia. You will design test plans, execute tests, and help triage issues, ensuring quality across software, hardware, and integrated systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, perform regression testing, document results, and contribute to test improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and/ or experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software, hardware, and integrated systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools.
• Conduct regression, functional, performance, and stress testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and results, and generate test reports.
