Job summary

SICPA in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, seeks a motivated Test Automation Intern to support the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of our test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and Java applications. You will gain hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and Jenkins CI/CD, and collaborate with engineers across teams.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a CS/SE degree, with basic programming knowledge, strong problem-solving and teamwork, and a commitment to professional

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development and testing principles.
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman) is a plus.
• An individual of absolute, unquestioned professional ethics and integrity.
• Able to act autonomously but also to collaborate strongly with internal resources.
• Able to operate across functions, and to handle numerous stakeholders.
• Characteristics of curiosity, collaborative and self-driven with analytical mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Help in maintaining automation test environments and optimizing frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and timelines.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
