Manufacturing : Test Application Development Engineer

Location: Johor Bahru (Malaysia) | Employment Type: Full-time, Unlimited | Reference Number: 7196

Your tasks

• Hardware tasks: develop test systems/test fixture PCBA for PCBA board testing.
• Collaborate with Research & Development (R&D), Operations and Service to determine T&M requirements, test parameters, test concept & test method.
• Software development tasks: develop an automatic test sequence (Test automation) for testing electronic PCBA modules such as Mainboard/RF board. Skilled in C, C++, C# programming knowledge.
• Support the team in developing standards and create the scope for new innovations.
• Verify the test systems you have developed and transfer them into production to smooth test operations as well as improve and develop them further. Partner with the test technology team in Germany on a daily basis to work on test integration.

Your Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, preferably major in communications engineering, high‑frequency engineering or computer engineering OR Degree in computer science.
• Programming knowledge and skillful in at least one high‑level language (preferably C# or Python).
• Knowledge of test/measurement technology for digital, mixed‑signal and high‑frequency PCBAs desirable.
• Knowledgeable in schematic understanding of analog and digital circuit technology.
• Confident use of PC and standard office applications.
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and independence.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Self‑motivated and result‑oriented.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in test application development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and deliver solutions in a timely and effective manner.
