A leading beverage company is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Ipoh, Perak. The role involves developing outlets, managing P&L, and building customer relationships. Candidates should have at least 4 years of FMCG experience and strong leadership skills. Office Location: Ipoh, Perak
Department: Commercial – General Trade
Regularly visit and develop top-performing outlets.
Own area P&L, meet monthly volume targets, and implement company strategies via Sales Executives.
Ensure Sales Team is equipped, motivated, and resourced to execute plans effectively.
Drive RED action culture and ensure outlet activation meets RED standards.
Analyze team performance, lead morning meetings, approve volumes, and monitor daily execution and incentives.
Submit reports regularly and gather market insights for continuous improvement.
Build strong customer relationships, understand their business, and ensure compliance with company standards.
At least 4 years of working experience as an Area Sales Manager, District Sales Manager or equivalent. Preferably with experience in FMCG companies at the similar job level.
Experience in leading and managing distributors would be an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Melayu.
A team player and ability to work well with people.
Ability to lead, build discipline and coach team members; Sales Team Leads, Sales Representatives, Sales Merchandisers.
Self-motivated, focus on results and goal – oriented person.
Merchandising knowledge is an added advantage.
