Position

Tenure‑Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Audiology – Ref. 533787.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach in the speech‑language pathology and audiology programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Provide service to the programmes and contribute to collaborative and interdisciplinary efforts with colleagues across the University.
  • Supervise research postgraduate students, contribute actively to research and knowledge exchange, undertake clinical practicum supervision, and assume service/administrative responsibilities as appropriate.
  • At senior levels, lead collaborative and interdisciplinary initiatives, mentor the next generation of scholars and researchers, and assume high‑level service/administrative responsibilities.
Essential Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Audiology or a related discipline.
  • Experience or knowledge in clinical audiology with children and/or adults.
  • Proven track record in, or strong potential for, research, scholarly publications and competitive external funding.
  • Experience in tertiary teaching is an advantage.
  • Qualifications and experience acceptable for professional registration with the Hong Kong Institute of Audiologists are preferred.
What We Offer

The appointment is a fixed‑term full‑time contract for 3 years, commencing August 1 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of the second three‑year contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for appointment on tenure terms subject to approval.
