Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities related to Outside Plant (OSP) infrastructure projects, including Telecom especially TM underground and overhead works. The role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and in compliance with relevant authority and client requirements.

Lead and manage the execution of OSP projects covering underground and overhead installations for TM networks.

Oversee Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and overhead cabling works, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.

Manage Duct Space Record (DSR) preparation, submission, and updates in accordance with client and authority requirements.

Supervise and coordinate cable relocation services including site assessments, planning, and coordination with stakeholders.

Liaise and maintain effective working relationships with relevant authorities (e.g., TM, Maxis, Celcomdigi, Umobile, YTL, local councils, utility owners) to secure necessary approvals and permits.

Monitor project progress, resources, and budgets; prepare regular progress reports and resolve any site or technical issues promptly.

Ensure compliance with all company, client, and statutory safety and quality requirements.

Lead site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
