Job summary

SEER S&R in Malaysia is seeking a Tekla Drafter/Detailer (Structural) to perform 2D drafting of precast elements in AutoCAD and 3D modelling in Tekla Structures. You will generate fabrication drawings and material lists, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and ensure designs meet standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 1 year of precast detailing experience and is willing to work extra hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering and/ or related field with min 1 year experience in Precast Detailing.
• Knowledge & work experience in using AutoCAD & Tekla Structure software
• Willing to work extra hours when job required including rest day, public holiday

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D detailing/ drafting of precast structures using AutoCAD.
• Perform 3D modelling/ detailing of precast structure using Tekla.
• Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software
• Generate fabrication drawings and material lists from the models
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
• Use industry standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency of designs
• Communicate with fabricators and contractors to ensure successful fabrication and construction of structures
• Review and analyze project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance
• Participate in design and construction meetings as needed
• Continuously update and improve skills and knowledge of Tekla Structures software and industry trends

Salary Up To RM8000

Job Descriptions:

• Perform 2D detailing/ drafting of precast structures using AutoCAD.
• Perform 3D modelling/ detailing of precast structure using Tekla.
• Any other job function assigned and new responsibilities may be added as and when necessary from time to time.
• Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software
