Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Ipoh is looking for an Equipment Technician. You will handle equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring effective operations. Required qualifications include a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering fields. Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment is a plus. The role requires shift work and is based in Ipoh.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant engineering field is required.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts and be based in Ipoh.

• Perform basic equipment setup, conversion, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.

Monitor production output, analyze machine downtime, investigate line issues, and drive improvements in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Operate and diagnose production equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations. Identify equipment components, understand their functions, and use the right tools for setup and troubleshooting. Participate in continuous improvement and line optimization activities. Support 5S initiatives to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment. Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Open to being based in Ipoh.
