Qualifications

Job description
Overview

Assist in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of hospital facilities and engineering systems. Perform routine inspections and minor corrective maintenance of the hospital's mechanical, electrical, and civil systems to ensure smooth and safe operation.

Job Description
  • Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks for electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and building systems.
  • Support Senior Technicians and Chargeman in executing scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) works.
  • Respond to service requests and attend to minor faults or breakdowns within the hospital facility.
  • Record and report faults, maintenance activities and the condition of equipment to the superior.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital engineering SOPs during work execution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of plant rooms, equipment areas, and tools.
  • Assist in setting up and supporting hospital events including electrical or equipment needs.
Education
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
Knowledge And Experiences
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience in a hospital, building maintenance, or engineering environment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and building systems.
Skills & Competencies
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
