Job summary

A global semiconductor company located in Malacca is seeking a skilled technician to perform sample preparation and maintain analytical equipment for technology projects. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in engineering and 5-6 years of experience in Failure Analysis. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in Failure Analysis.
• Must have passed English & Maths subjects at SPM level.
• Able to work in 12 hours rotating shift (Day/Night).

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation activities for new and existing development projects.
• Responsible for maintaining analytical equipment and compliance with safety rules.
• Dispose of chemical waste and ensure all mandatory training is completed.

Job description

Your Role

• Perform sample preparation activities for new and existing development / technology projects.
• Responsible for maintaining analytical equipment under their care to ensure always in good condition.
• Fulfill tasks and targets which will be deployed from time to time.
• Ensure compliance of 5S and safety rules for all machines, equipment and workstations.
• Responsible for disposal of chemical waste and critical waste.
• Ensure all mandatory / refresher training not overdue in system.
• Have good communication skills to interact with engineers and internal team.
• To support ad-hoc request assigned by superior.

Your Profile

• Diploma in Mechatronic, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Must passed English & Maths subjects at SPM level
• Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in Failure Analysis.
• Experience in sample preparation and FA analysis tools.
• Knowledge in semiconductor backend process
• Able to work in 12 hours rotating shift (Day/Night).
