A leading manufacturing company is seeking a qualified professional for facility operations and maintenance. The role includes managing daily operational support, implementing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a certificate or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with expertise in maintaining various machinery. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Support daily operations and maintenance of Plant facility
Plan, develop, prepare, implement and coordinate a comprehensive maintenance, routine inspection and corrective maintenance
Assists daily maintenance and operational tasks for facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
Manage day to day operational support, preventive maintenance and undertaking projects
Supports planning and execution of facility projects such as plastic injection, compression machineries setup.
Ensure proper maintenance system implemented for all production machinery/equipment and other facilities
Participate in management, plant, safety meeting
Ensure operation of all equipment and facility are complying with the relevant legislation, safety policies and procedures
Co-ordinates with other departments and contractors/suppliers on facility related activities
Evaluates and recommends upgrading in facility equipment including building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and etc
Performs routine facility systems checks and emergency repairs
Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in facilities and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of Press Machines (mechanical and/or hydraulic).
Experience in maintenance and servicing of Plastic Injection Molding Machines and Rubber Compression Machines.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
Experience in maintaining factory facilities, utilities, production equipment, and infrastructure.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
Familiar with machine safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and basic industrial safety regulations.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Basic computer skills for maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
Good communication skills and able to work effectively in a team environment
