Job summary

A technology services company based in Sandakan is seeking a technician for customer support and onsite installation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining technical equipment, ensuring smooth operation on-site, and providing timely customer assistance. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience and a certificate in Electrical & Electronics. Flexibility to work shifts and travel is necessary.

Job description

1. Providing service and customer support at site.

2. Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test task

3. Diagnosing error or technical problems and determining proper solutions.

4. Onsite & Offsite support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems and networks.
• To do operational planning such as Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance.
• Make prompt decision / action on problem arise.
• To inform supervisors for any unresolved issues at the subordinate level so that follow up actions will be taken.
• To support daily operation activities and fulfill obligations to ensure system at site running smoothly.
• Provide immediate response and assistance to customer and users.
• Follow all company process, procedures and protocols. Adhere to schedule arranged and inform immediate supervisor for any issue related to work schedule.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Certificate in Electrical & Electronics or relevant discipline.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and adapt to changing schedules.
• Willingness to travel for outstation assignments.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy equipment and tools.
