Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Porsche and other German vehicles (e.g. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Bentley, Volkswagen) including engine work, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic results.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and service advisor to ensure efficient workflow and maintain a positive work environment.
• Continual Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, tools, and techniques, particularly those relevant to Porsche and German vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a car technician, with a focus on Porsche and German vehicles would be an added advantage.
• Certifications: Minimum a Diploma in Automotive studies or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic tools & repair manuals.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision in all work performed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various positions.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and colleagues.
